After a top of the table clash against Maidstone left Cliffe with their first loss after 12 consecutive wins. The match saw both teams battle valiantly in poor weather conditions but Maidstones were to be victorious with a six point score margin.
The league campaign took a back seat and saw Cliffe travel to Blackheath to take on Askeans RFC in the Cup. A tremendous performance against a well drilled side under floodlights on a freezing cold Friday night. Askeans weren't able to cope against a rejuvenated Crusaders team. Cliffe won 27 - 14. A huge thank you to all of the traveling supports who made the journey and braved the traffic and the cold to witness history in the making.
Next up Cliffe welcome East Peckham for their return fixture. The Crusaders hope to return to their winning ways and keep their dreams alive.
